Carroll Bryant History:
Since this fiasco has been going on since the summer of 2012, many bloggers, readers, and reviewers have thrown in their thoughts surrounding Carroll Bryant.
This particular blog is not going to re-hash any unnecessary old drama and will instead, be focusing on the latest news and turn of events. What Carroll Bryant did wrong and how things began can be found in the following places. This is in no way a complete list.
Hi, all of these links just lead to different peoples blogs. It might make interesting reading, but blogs are just peoples opinions.
ReplyDeleteWhere is the proof of all the things CB is supposed to have done? He has admitted using a models photo, that is kind of old news now. Everything else seems to be speculation.
CB certainly seems to have annoyed a lot of people, there are two different blogs dedicated to him. But I still haven't seen any proof of him been a bad guy.
I'm not saying that the proof doesn't exist, I'm just asking where it is? Just because people wrote stuff in a blog doesn't make it true.
I'm just interested to see it so that I can judge for myself. Thank you. :)

ReplyDeleteYes, all of the links go to different blogs. In order to get an accurate picture on what has gone on over the past (almost) year, you need to go searching. In the beginning, Carroll had the tendency to put something up on his original blog and then delete it a few days or sometimes hours later. There are screen shots of things that he has said and done galore. It's not our job to do this for you. We can assure you, there are plenty of things to look at out there. Hopefully you will take the time to sludge through the mess.
You make a valid point. These are blogs and like you said, just because people wrote stuff in a blog doesn't make it true. This can be applied to Carroll's blogs, so we are hoping you are questioning his validity as well.
I'm not sure what you mean by you will bite once? But I'm guessing with all the paranoia that is going on that you either think that I am CB or a friend of his, but I am honestly neither.
ReplyDeleteI am just curious to see exactly what he did. There are two Anti-CB blogs so I'm thinking that he must have done something pretty bad to annoy people, but I can't find any evidence on this blog that shows he is a bad guy.
I am honestly not taking either side. I guess I'm just been noisy, well maybe its more curiosity. To me C.B's blog, Genx blog and this blog come across as people who dislike each other and are fighting through blogs. I am not taking C.B's side, he can't complain about people writing a blog about him when he is doing the very same thing himself. I can't make any sense out of his blog anyway? His posts are way too long. I lose interest in what he is saying very quickly, I don't know what he is going on about half the time?
Its just hard to get a straight answer off anyone because everyone is so suspicious of each other. Surly you can see my point though? You have gone to the trouble to write a blog about C.B. but you haven't shown what he has done wrong? When I asked you you told me that I should look for it myself. I would have thought that as you went to the trouble to write this blog about C.B. then you would have showed what he did wrong, screen shots ect.
I can understand you been weary of people commenting on this blog, I know C.B. commented continuously on the genx blog. My advice to C.B. would be leave it, stop commenting on blog where people don't want you to comment.
I always maintain that there is no smoke without fire. C.B. must have done something to cause all this bad attention. I just want to see evidence of what he did? I can't understand why you won't post a link to show what he did along with all the other links here? I know it is not your job to show me what he did, but if there are screen shots then why didn't you post them? They would have added much more to this blog then just showing other peoples blogs.

Listen, we made it clear above that it is not our intention to rehash old material. Our blog is focused on new issues that come up with Carroll. Other bloggers have exhausted what originally happened with Carroll and what he originally did to make everyone so upset. We are not going to post over 8 months worth of screen shots.
DeleteIf you would like to see screen shots of what happened originally, I'll post links below. In short, Carroll posted a list of bloggers who didn't fulfill their reviewing duties on one of his books. It was later admitted, by Carroll, that he never sent books to these bloggers, but he was mad that they didn't keep their promise. That never made sense to many people. He didn't lose money on anything and book bloggers are not required to review books that are sent to them to begin with. A few of the bloggers he named claimed they didn't have anything to do with him. It escalated from there and turned into a huge mess.

He has also continued to harass Jude Henderson since this whole thing begun. You don't need screenshots to see that evidence, it's all over his blogs.
He is also associated with Stop the Goodreads Bullies, a site that has doc dropped members of Goodreads and likes to name and shame people who they do not like for varied reasons. At the least, he supports what they do there. We do not know for sure if he is part of their blog. If you go to their site, his name will pop up often in their comments.
